- Flavoring: 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Optional Add-Ins: 60 g (½ cup) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional), Pinch of sea salt (optional for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Line the pan:
- Line a 20 cm (8-inch) square baking pan with parchment paper leaving some overhang for easy removal
- Melt mixture:
- In a medium saucepan over low heat combine the sweetened condensed milk chocolate chips and butter Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth
- Add vanilla and nuts:
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract Fold in nuts if using
- Pour mixture:
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula
- Optional salt:
- If desired sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top
- Chill:
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set
- Serve:
- Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang Cut into 24 squares and serve
