Ingredients

  • Chocolate & Dairy: 400 g (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, 340 g (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips, 60 g (4 tbsp) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • Flavoring: 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Optional Add-Ins: 60 g (½ cup) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional), Pinch of sea salt (optional for sprinkling)

Line the pan:
Line a 20 cm (8-inch) square baking pan with parchment paper leaving some overhang for easy removal
Melt mixture:
In a medium saucepan over low heat combine the sweetened condensed milk chocolate chips and butter Stir constantly until the chocolate and butter are melted and the mixture is smooth
Add vanilla and nuts:
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract Fold in nuts if using
Pour mixture:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula
Optional salt:
If desired sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top
Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set
Serve:
Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment overhang Cut into 24 squares and serve
